Healing, with our hands in the soil.

Our Healing Garden is more than a green space — it's a living classroom and a place of restoration, where families grow food, grow together, and learn to feed themselves for generations.

A LIVING CLASSROOM

Slow down, reconnect, grow

We believe healing happens when we slow down and reconnect — to ourselves, to each other, and to the earth. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Plants brings families impacted by incarceration together around something alive, teaching patience, responsibility, and pride through tending a garden.

WHAT GROWS HERE

Programming that nurtures the whole person

Hands-on, community-rooted, and open to families and volunteers alike.

Mindfulness circles

Guided group sessions in the garden — breathwork, reflection, and peer connection in a calm, natural setting.

Growing together

Hands-in-soil gardening as therapy — cultivating patience, responsibility, and pride through tending something alive.

Food security for our future

Give a family fruit, feed them for today; teach them to plant, and you feed them for generations. We visit each family at home to map out how to maximize the growing space they already have — a backyard, a balcony, or a single sunny window. Growing well is about more than pot size, and we get that.
